Bergmann MPB 918

The Bergmann MPB 918 portable hooklift compactor is the market-leading portable waste compactor for wet and general waste.

The MPB 918 is a watertight unit, tested at the factory before dispatch. Unlike ordinary compactors, The cylinder configuration and the design of the hopper mean that the cylinders never come into contact with the waste, increasing their longevity and reducing maintenance.

Available with optional bin lifters for comb and pinion bins and GSM telematics for email and text notification when full, Also available as a dock-loader.

Bergmann MPB918 is the 'go-to' compactor for general and wet waste. It is a sealed unit with no space behind the press plate to be cleaned out. The optional drain plug will allow water from waste within the container to be drained off.

Are Different From Other Makes

With the Bergmann MPB918, there is no space behind the press plate so there's no nasty cleaning out to do, which is typical with standard compactors where the corrosive wet waste will eventually corrode and damage cylinders. The pictures below show what happens with a typical compactor with a cleaning hatch (orange machine left and middle). Note that Bergmann compactors have no need of a cleaning hatch as there is no space behind the ram for waste to accumulate.

Traditional compactors have a space behind the press plate which gets clogged with waste and has to be cleaned out regularly. Bergmann compactors have designed this space out, reducing maintenance and increasing machine lifespan.

The MPB is 100% leak-proof and is tested at the factory before it leaves.
